Shipping & Returns

When you purchase something on-line you should expect it to be delivered to you quickly, undamaged, and with minimal extra cost; and with the assurance that you will be happy with your purchase. At Jacobella we make every effort to ensure that this is what happens.

Please read our Shipping Information and Return policy carefully before placing your order. This information and policy is subject to change at any time at out sole discretion without notice. Your use of this website confirms your acceptance of these terms.

US Shipping. Jacobella ships to all US addresses in the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii, including Post Office Boxes. We ship via both United Parcel Service ("UPS") and US Mail ("USPS") as per the customer's choosing at the time of check-out. If you are shipping to a Post Office Box, please choose US Mail as UPS does not deliver to Post Office Boxes.

Canada Shipping. Jacobella ships to all Canadian addresses, including Post Office Boxes. We ship via both United Parcel Service ("UPS") and US Mail ("USPS") as per the customer's choosing at the time of check-out. If you are shipping to a Post Office Box, please choose US Mail as UPS does not deliver to Post Office Boxes. Your parcel may be subject to a customs, duty or VAT tax. It is the obligation of the consumer to obtain information concerning these taxes and pay them if necessary. You can usually obtain this information by contacting your postal office or customs office.

International shipping. Jacobella currently does not ship to addresses outside the United States and Canada.

Shipping and Handling costs. Shipping and handling costs are the responsibility of the customer and non-refundable. Shipping and handling costs are invoiced at standard USPS and UPS rates plus a nominal handling fee to cover the costs of packaging materials. The handling fee is calculated into the shipping rate quote which you receive at checkout. These shipping rates are supplied to us electronically by USPS and UPS respectively at the time of checkout based upon the estimated weight of your shipment and are subject to change at any time without notice. These estimates are deemed to be reliable but not guaranteed. Jacobella, Inc. will not be held liable for any damages or inconvenience as a result of these estimates; nor does Jacobella accept any responsibility for the accuracy or inaccuracy thereof.

Damaged goods. We do our best to package your shipment in a manner that minimizes the chance of damage or breakage in transit. However, accidents do happen and carriers do sometimes break shipments. Ownership of the goods transfers to the customer at the time that it is received by the shipping company. It is the responsibility of the customer to file a claim with the shipping company against loss of goods due to breakage while in transit. UPS automatically insures every shipment up to $100 at no extra charge and is your best option if you are concerned about breakage. Please inspect your purchase promptly after receipt to ensure that no damage exists as we cannot accept returns of damaged goods and the shipper may have limitations as to the time in which you are allowed to file a claim.

Return Policy. We take great pride in the quality of our products and will accept returns for refund within 7 days of receipt of the product. We will accept returns for exchange within 30 days of receipt of the product. You must notify us in advance of your return through the Contact Us page on this website or by emailing shipping@jacobella.com to receive a return authorization number. Returns sent without an authorization are subject to a 20% restocking fee. We must receive the product back within 10 days of notification of intent to return. With the exception of manufacturing defects, the product must arrive at our store undamaged and in saleable condition. Refunds will be credited back to the card used to purchase the item. We do not refund shipping and handling costs.
